I love fics where Dean is protective. I want Dean being protective over Cas, and when Cas gets hurt he just looses it. Either Cas being surprised or used it works for me. Or Sam isn't surprised because Dean is always super protective over Cas but Cas is confused or shocked ( Read more... )

I'm re-watching season 6 and it is startling how aggresively intolerant the Winchesters were to Cas. Not only did they use him pretty selfishly (along with Bobby, yeesh) and barely ever bothered to say 'please' or 'thank you', they were demanding, arrogant and entitled to boot.
